HEIRLOOM HIGHLIGHT - LODATO

Happy Columbus Day! What's better than celebrating a classic American holiday than with a classic wedding invitation design? I personally do not believe there is anything more classic than navy for a wedding!

This invitation is named "Lodato" after my bride - sometimes I just adore my bride's maiden names! Like many invitations, this one was inspired by a different SJ design (the Haile, in this instance) where it took only a few small tweaks to make the design new and unique. For the Lodato suite, we changed the layout of the text to be a more classic invitation style, used a different calligraphy-inspired font, and painted the edges a softer pink color. The invitation itself was printed on 220lb, double-thick, bright white cotton paper, in navy letterpress with blind lace letterpress on the corners. To help keep the invitation budget-friendly, we opted for digitally printed insert cards - which is my FAVORITE budget trick! The suite was paired with navy envelopes, white digital address printing, and pink envelope liners to match the pink edge painting.

The Lodato design has quickly become one of my all-time favorites, and is now available to all couples! You can order a sample of the design from the shop, here, which comes with paper samples, color swatches, an informational booklet, and more.
