HEIRLOOM HIGHLIGHT: JACKIE'S BLACK AND GOLD WEDDING INVITATIONS FOR A SMITHTOWN, NY WEDDING

Hey friends, my name is Jackie and I recently worked with my name doppelganger. For real! My full name is Jaclyn Ann, and my bride's name is, you guess it, JACLYN ANN! I know, it's amazing.

Not as amazing as her wedding invitations, though. Her invitations, which I've now named Menna (because Jaclyn Ann just didn't sound catchy enough, sorry), were one of my favorites of the season to create. I love when simple typography is paired with subtle colors and classic patterns - like this black, gold, ivory, and floral palette. The gold and ivory floral envelope liners pulled the entire suite together - and adding a vellum sheet an wax seal? I mean, COME ON! It doesn't get much better!

The Menna design was printed in gold and black ink on double-thick ivory paper and paired with a metallic ivory invitation envelope (lined with a gold and ivory metallic floral patterned envelope liner), and an antique gold reply envelope. Sigh. Jackie may be both my name and design doppelganger.
